Have you seen the Wall-of-Shame recently? It is staggering under its own weight and rumors have it that if it gets any bigger, China's Great Wall is going to be playing second fiddle to a bunch of cheating, opportunists.

Everyday, the wall grows like a botched DNA experiment in a low budget sci-fi movie. Everyday, the forums echo the frustration, disappointment of players who are giving up. Everyday, the hackers pole vault over HackShield and into your room armed with updated cheats.

When is Nexon gonna get its act together? Before we answer that, consider the following points:

1. Nexon has provided an quality MMOFPS that is not only entertaining, but FREE. That's correct, FREE. You don't pay to play unless you want too. And, by the way, it is still one of the best MMO's around.

2. We, the playing public, have perverted it. We've introduced hacks and fraud and provided a cozy, neo-caustic, low IQ, e-thug batting cage for forum trollers. As usual, like a well-thought post, we've permitted the low-life, opporunitistic, sociopathic morons to reduce it to its most debased meaning.

3. As far as Nexon goes, what can they be expected to do? Afterall, they created something entertaining, purposeful and FREE (did I mention, FREE?) only to see the product of their effort get hyjacked and misused.

4. We've also allowed the asses of the masses to air their compliants about Nexon making a profit from NX. Since when is making money a bad thing? Hey, thats how you got the game for FREE. Remember? You didn't buy it. Someone else did. So stop already with the NX grievance. Its weak and smacks of socialism and ungrateful, self-entitled brats demanding something more for free.

5. You want a better HackShield? How about this; get rid of the dirty players in your clan. Dirty clans make up a large portion of the clan warring arena. What? Thats right, go to Bulldog and try to find a clean clan to play. Unless your playing well, respected clans, you're gonna be waiting awhile until a clean one comes along. Clean clans are the minority and its our fault, not Nexon's.

6. But Nexon is in bed with the hackers! This conspiracy theory gets a lot of press because it puts the blame on someone other than the cheating idiots who pay their money to the greedy hack providers. Basic economics tells us that if we stop buying the cheats they'll go out of business. As for Elite Moderator, it was designed for control of game rules, not for policing hackers as it has turned into.

So you see, its our fault. Not the designers of Combat Arms. Want to fix it? Here's a slow painful solution:

1. Get mad. Thats right, pissed off, junkyard dog mad. Put a handful of roofing nails in your underwear and do 100 jumping jacks. Done? Good.

2. First of all, you certify your and your clan's skill as clean. How? Go to the online gaming organizations like CBL, C.L.E.A.N. and LGC and follow their instructions.

3. Refuse to be in a dirty clan. Go to CBL and do a clan search. If its dirty and your clan leader is a slacker, get out and find a clean one.

4. If you are a clan leader, clean it up and keep it clean. Put CBL and c.L.E.A.N. active-link logos on your clan's website. The minute your clan goes dirty, you'll know.

5. Get Elite Moderator or hang out in rooms with someone who has it. Kick every moron with a hacker design, hard to remember IGN or Clan name. Tip: lots of bogus characters in prefix or suffix are what hackers rely on for quick name changes when banned, i.e. xxxNamexxx, x_xNAMEx_x, -_-NAME-_-, etc. Also, be wary of clans with no symbol or font color; no money probably means no commitment to staying hacker-free.

6. Kick the E-Thugs who show up in your room trash talking and name calling. No manners probably means no morals either.

7. Lastly, REPORT, REPORT, REPORT, REPORT. Use this link to report cheaters: http://combatarms.nexon.net/reporting/playerabuse.aspx. When someone cheats in game, get a screenshot or video of it and post it there. Believe me, they will be kicked if the evidence is valid.

So, instead of asking, "When is Nexon gonna get its act together?" we should be asking, "When are we gonna get our act together?"

Get mad. Mad people get things done. Let's kick some hacker butt.
